It's a day late in being announced here, but yesterday afternoon after going to an interview at CVS for a Pharm Tech position, I got a call from the store manager. Last Friday I had interviewed for some other positions within the new store that is opening, and when he called me yesterday it was to tell me that he had gotten my background check in and I was good to.

I start March 30th at 9am with orientation and paperwork stuff. The store is supposed to open April 18th, so we will be working to get it all set up and ready to go, along with some training being done at another location. As far as I know I'm going to be a clerk/cashier, but there is a possibility of being a Shift Supervisor. I will probably find out on Tuesday when I start. At least for now I can say I have a job again.

This was my first attempt at drawing a Dalek that I had drawn for a friend. The idea came to me earlier this week, with the knowledge of St. Patrick's Day coming up. I had an image of a Dalek trying to blend in on the holiday.

It's about time they were recognized. The following article talks about the Women of WWII who flew military Aircraft. They were honored with the Congressional Medal of Honor and have long been overlooked. They were just as important in the war as anyone else was, and they finally got the recognition they deserved.
